Those Pokémon that Ho-Oh ressurected in Burned Tower. The Beast trio (or whatever people are calling them nowadays) shares the same types as Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon. Coincidentaly, it happened on the same City which Kimono Girls live, the eeveelution trainers. Could it be that Raikou, Entei and Suicune are ressurected Jolteon, Flareon and Vaoporeon?

The thing is though, Ho-oh used the elements of the events (lightning strike, fire, rain) and they gained those elements because of this, so it would be weird if they already were those types from the beginning..
Therefore, my theory is that they were simply Eevees, which as noted seems a popular choice around Ecruteak. And the elements that Ho-oh used worked like a powerful source of pure element much stronger than simple stones. So since Eevee evolves through the stones, the beasts might be the result of elemental "overdose" xDDd..
